Hey guys!

I am very excited to start this month of May with GO!

First is Prayer:

Thank you Lord for your word,

may it come into our heart,

stay in our heart

and be of blessing.

Amen

We will learn about the Holy Spirit and how the Early Church was sent out on a mission to spread the Good News. We will also learn about how God gave us a special armor to protect us.

Let's sing with all our heart.

After Jesus left to heaven He left us a job. This Bible verse says exactly what we have to do.

Matthew 28:19

Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

The Early Church was made of Jesus' friends the apostles.

They received the Holy Spirit and were able to speak in other tongues.

The Holy Spirit filled them and gave them POWER.

Jesus' friends were able to do MIRACLES like Jesus.

The Early Church also shared everything.

They prayed for each other, they ate together and also praised God together.

That sounds like what we do right?

Yeah! we are the CHURCH and we should do these things together too.
