Before we start let's PRAY:

Dear Lord thank you for this day.

May your word come into our heart, stay in our heart and be of blessing.

Let's see... do you remember the Memory verse?

HEBREWS 12:2

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus...because of the joy awaiting Him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside's God's throne.

Wow! it says that we have to keep our eyes on Jesus, but how?

THINK: Do you keep your eyes on Jesus when you watch a scary movie?

NO! How about when you behave badly? Hmm?

NO!

Then, how do you keep your eyes on Jesus?

Pray everyday

Read the Bible

Sing to Him

Yeah! You see, dying on the cross was ONLY for REALLY BAD people.

Jesus NEVER did anything bad.

So, he didn't deserve dying on the cross.

But, guess what... There was JOY awaiting Jesus after dying on the cross.

What? How could that be?

YOU were that JOY

Jesus saw you and me. That was His JOY it made him very happy. He knew that by dying on the cross he opened the door for us to be with Him FOREVER!

OK, so are you ready now?

Let's sing with all our heart because Jesus deserves our everything.

Yes, Jesus loves you. He loves you so much that it made Him happy to give His life for us.

Before Jesus died on the cross he PRAYED.

Let's look and see why He prayed:

Jesus knew that his time on earth was coming to an end and he prayed.

Do you pray?

Do you know how to pray? and when?

Sometimes we don't know what to say when we pray, but God says He knows what we are going to say before we say it.

THINK: What do you say when you pray? Let's see...

Ok, guys we are done for today.

Remember: Jesus was able to go to the cross for you and me, to forgive our bad things we do, and for us to live with him forever.

Let's pray:

Thank you God for giving us your Son

Thank you for this day, and thank you for your love for me.
